Ljiljana Nikolovska
Ljiljana Nikolovska (Serbo-Croatian pronunciation: [ʎǐʎana nikɔlɔ̌ʋskaː]) (also spelled Nikolovski or Nikoloski, born August 24, 1964 in Split, Croatia, is a Croatian singer. Ljiljana is of mixed Croatian and Macedonian ethnicity. She is best known for being the original lead singer with Magazin,[1] and for having sung for Hrvatski Band Aid. She recorded seven albums, and appeared on numerous compilation albums with Magazin from 1982 to mid-1990. She recorded a solo album in 1996 named Let for Croatia Records.
As of mid-1990s to present day, Nikolovska is married to a musician Pete Mazich. They have a son and live in San Pedro, California, USA, where they play and co-produce projects with numerous musicians and bands.
